Are there more where these are coming from?

Population increase is one of the leading factors for the growth and development of urban centers and cities in the developing world. As Urban centers continue to grow because of population increase, there has been increased pressure on natural resource utilization. Swamps and forests have been cleared for human settlement and use.

Most urban centers and cities in the developing world are dependent on trees as the cheapest source of fuel. Trees are being cut for charcoal production and firewood for use by mostly the middle and low income earners. The price of electricity per unit is still high and most people cannot afford to use it cooking in their homes.

When will this stop?

Can we be able to reduce dependency on trees for fuel ?

If you think there is more from where this wood is coming from, then in the near by future we shall have no more trees if we don't start planting more trees.

Lets plant more trees to preserve & save the environment.
